Special Broadcast by Students on October 29 Republic Day at Hitit FM


A special Republic Day program was held on Hitit University’s Training and Practice Radio, Hitit FM, to mark October 29. The broadcast was prepared and presented by students of the Media and Communication Program.

The program addressed the founding of the Republic, the nation’s struggle for independence, and the importance of the Republic as one of the fundamental values of modern Turkey. It emphasized that the proclamation of the Republic on October 29, 1923, symbolizes national will and confidence in the future.

Students highlighted the achievements of the Republic, Atatürk’s leadership in the independence struggle, and the legacy of the Republic passed on to new generations.

Broadcast on Hitit FM at 100.5 MHz, the program gave students the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge while gaining practical experience in radio broadcasting.

Prepared for the 102nd anniversary of the Republic’s founding, this special broadcast drew attention to national history and Republican values, delivering a meaningful message to listeners.

Media and Communication Program lecturer and Hitit FM (100.5 MHz) General Editor Ali Aşır, together with lecturer Gökhan Şenyurt, guided the students in the production and content preparation of the radio program.
